History of the Sculpture

Ron Robicheaux attended the University of Southwest Louisiana from 1958 through 1962, where he majored in Architectural Design.

Early in his studies, he created this unique sculpture which he named, "Meditation."

Thirty years later, after a serious car accident, Ron suffered a major stroke which left him completely paralyzed on his left side, epileptic and suicidal.
The sculpture was renamed, "Depression."

Twenty years later while living in Holly Beach, Louisiana, and losing their Christian Resort and everything they owned to Hurricane Rita, Ron and his wife, Chris, moved to Harrison, AR.  God is using them, with volunteers and donations to build Psalm 34 Prayer Garden.  This same sculpture, created fifty years ago, is now a large part of this new work and a constant reminder that "It is time to Pray."
